April 23, 201214 yr Did not say that it was impossible or that we could not change the cockpit colors (I'm using the soft myself, so it is possible) . Furthermore i do not have a camera in my eye, so when i see a color i can tell what it is even in the flight deck of planes from different ages. Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! April 24, 201214 yr Author So despite all the countless hours PMDG spent photographing the actual aircraft, spending time modelling the flightdeck, then coding the actual plane and coloring, texturing, tweaking, and adjusting the visuals based on the firsthand experience they had....and THEN, further validated by a score of real NG pilots that actually fly the thing, despite all that..... ....you're saying PMDG is wrong and you're right? Based on what? That's kind of rude, man. Do you have some credentials? I did not say PMDG is wrong!!! Don't write stupidities! I have seen a post in the AVSIM forum last month about a tweak to change the interior light colours of the 737 NGX from PMDG. You should edit the 737NGX_Colors file (inside PMDG folder) to the following setup. This will give you a reddish light inside the VC. Good luck! April 24, 201214 yr I did not say PMDG is wrong!!! Don't write stupidities! Sorry, but yes you did. The basic difference between the two lighting is the colour of the light. In the real NGs it is orange coloured. Somehow the NGX doesn't reflect the real NG's lighting. You say it's orange. PMDG modelled white, the correct color. You're saying they got it wrong. Why deny what you wrote? If you want to say they don't have the right colors, at least stand behind what you wrote. AJ Pongress
April 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member You're saying they got it wrong. Why deny what you wrote? If you want to say they don't have the right colors, at least stand behind what you wrote. Exactly. "Somehow the NGX doesn't reflect the real NG's lighting," means just about the same. Reflecting the real NG's lighting would be "correct," and not reflecting the real thing would be "incorrect" (synonym: wrong). Kyle Rodgers

April 26, 201214 yr This feels like quibbling - PMDG still does the best night lighting. Good luck getting a dark cockpit with any of the Feel There products!
