FSUPIC - PMDG747 - Go Flight Q

Featured Replies

I have the GF-WP-6 unit. It displays MAster Caution, Master Warning and it can also be pressed as a button to stop the warnings.

The PMDG 747 has two warning/press switch next to the MCP for Caution and warning.

I am trying to get this thing working..,. Even if the warning lights (red and yellow) is not sent to the GF unit, when I press the warning button, I want the 747 warning beeps to stop.

When I press the warning lights (that also acts as a button) on the GF Unit, FSUIPC recognizes it... But what FSUIPC FS control do I select "Control when button pressed"? I did not see any Master caution or master warning among the large list of FS commands

Any Idea how I can make this work?

Hello

Steve Munns new driver for the NGX and Goflight modules will include the WP6, drop him a PM he will probably be glad of another WP6 owner to test the driver when he adds the unit to his code.

Alteratively I have just tested with an Fsuipc mouse macro and those panel buttons respond so you will be able to get them going that way hopefully.

Now that PMDG have published their SDK you should have readouts for all the 6-pack lights, mapped to FSUIPC offsets (see the doc included with current FSUIPC downloads), and a complete list of special control numbers to do everything with the NGX in the h file in the NGX SDK. The most recent versions of FSUIPC even allow you to assign these custom control numbers in the normal button assignment dialogue. You don't need mouse moacros for the NGX any more.

Not sure if there is an SDK for the old 747.

Pete, would that work for the old 747 as well?

Manny

Anyway, I downloaded the latest and greatest FSUPIC and installed it just for good measure.

Steve said, this is for the 737NG only and the new upcoming 747 too.. so I am allright.. After a new PC Build..I'll get the 737NG and the new upcoming 747 and alls well!

Ah, my error. i read the last entry and equated NGX to the 737NGX. I should have re-read the thread title.

I expect the mapping of the offsets will be different for a 747. I'll check when it arrives.

Forgive me Pete, I have no idea what an "h" file in the PMDG SDK is. Would you please suggest what I may need to read/do to get my GoFlight modules working? (I do own a LIC ver of your module)

Inside the ZIP of all recent FSUIPC4 downloads there is a document listing PMDG 737NGX offsets and describing how to derive control numbers from the "h" file it does actually identify for you.

Please use the FSUIPC Support forum for any further questions.
