Hi Jay, no I haven't tried the Eiresim but I might do if Gary's takes much longer - It's Summons of course not Summers! I'm so sold on his work that I'm reluctant to move away. Like you, I have all the Xtreme series. I missed out Belfast, Gatwick & Heathrow from my post.

Usually Ryanair from my local, Bournemouth EGHH, to EHAM or sometimes LEPA or LEBL - No VA, as I have an aversion to talking to my PC..But tbh, most of my cool scenery is USA or AU, so I end up there mostly...

I am curious, what airline do you chose to fly for in the Simulator?

 

I chose to fly for KLM. They have a great network of flights to all across Europe. I am now currently flying American Airlines out of LAX and Qantas out of Brisbane, ever since my virtual KLM closed down.

 

I am planning to move on to fly Austrian Airlines and El Al.

 

Do you try and stick to real world routes/destinations, for example by only flying to/from places on the ailines' route map?

 

Yes I always try to mimic real world operations. I don't know why, but if I know that I am flying a flight which is not in real life, it feels weird. I even started a morning flight from AMS to CDG at 5:30 in the morning to get the real sensation :D

 

Where is your favourite place to fly to/from in Europe?

 

I enjoy flying in and out of Zürich a lot. Great scenery, complex approaches and changing weather. FSdreamteam has a really good version of the airport.

 

Where is your favourite place to fly to/from in the UK?

I prefer LHR, it's a major hub and really difficult to fly approaches into. Second would be MAN. I flew a lot of KLM flights to those two airports.
