May 1, 201214 yr Prior to SP2, the flight director bars would disappear when the AP is switched off while in APP mode. Ah! Shows how much I use the FD - I often forget to even turn it on. On an approach, I'm looking at the "needles" (or the virtual equivalent thereof) and have not yet trained myself to use a FD. I know - impossibly out of date I am. That's why I was so happy to see the GS get added to the HSI - just more the presentation I'm used to. I'm slowly starting to train myself to use the FD on climbout and cruise transition. May 1, 201214 yr SP2 appears to replace the aircraft.cfg, panel.cfg, and sound.cfg files, so yes, any tweaks you've applied will be lost. I am usually slow to complain, but I'm peeved! Why would they not warn users about this when DL or installing the patch? I believe I have archived and working copies of my modified files but in a bit of a panic until I confirm. My RXP 430 integration, repaints, and pop-up gauge positions are all involved, with a lot of trial and error. Several hours of work!
