March 13, 201511 yr The weather was fine at IAD today. I don't use ASN, yet. I use Opus and find it to be pretty realistic. I also use PFPX. Thanks again Kyle, sorry for all the newbie questions. Learning a lot and loving it. PMDG is outstanding. Jack Sawyer

It was a lot colder than I thought it would be. It's been a little warm for this time of year over the last few days. Still, not bad. Thanks again Kyle, sorry for all the newbie questions. March 14, 201511 yr In regards to this topic I am also wondering how to go direct to an airport if it is the destination as it isn't a selectable point on the legs page. For instance if I'm on a STAR to an airport that isn't as busy as normal that day and ATC offers a shortcut "cleared direct XYZ airport" how can i program direct to destination?
March 14, 201511 yr You would just put WXYZ in the scratch pad and then insert in into line 1 of the LEGS page. You'd probably put an approach in for a back-up. There'd still be a disco, so it'd read something like WXYZ -disco- FF16L RWY16L etc. That's what I'd do, anyway. Matt Cee
March 14, 201511 yr The topic started by Joe is very specific & clear. It's a good question and no one answered as it should. I would also like to know the correct procedure! Any RW pilot over there? Regards Santiago
