May 18, 201214 yr A friend of mine gave me a call and asked if I wanted to fly to Geauga County Airport to witness the auction of a private collection of aircraft that have been kept at this field for quite some time. Unfortunately, due to other committments I am unable to accompany him. I went to the auction site to look at the aircraft and was absolutely amazed at the museum quality planes in this private collection. I thought it would be nice to share these auction photos with the aviation enthusiasts that frequent this forum. This will be an end to an era for those that frequented Geauga County Airport.
