I would like to do a tour of the South American airports starting in Caracas down the west coast and return thru the central and east coasts in in 2 to 3 hour legs. I am unable to find any APP plates, SIDS and STARS, would appreciate help in finding a source of data to do this.

I think your best bet is to try the different vatsim affiliates for the countries you want to go to.

Joe, some of the scenery in south america is stunning and very challenging.

 

If you want to get the most out of it, you need some payware airport add ons, like Quito-X, Latin Vfr's La Paz SLLP, SLSU, and Cuzco SPZO.

 

I can assure you, you will use them again and again.

The far south of Argentina at this time of year is also a must, the airport of Ushuaia is quite something. Also Santiago in Chile from the north.

 

Each scenery package comes with charts and surrounding mesh.
