June 2, 201214 yr Just heard from Wilco CRJ patch available Dear CRJ NextGen customer, We are pleased to inform you that we have released version 1.2b with new improvements and fixes. - Cones added to security gear - Manual update (pages 6) - Yoke hider - Improved radio knob textures - Buffer overrun when pressing the LEGS or EXEC key on the CDU - AP buttons lighting at night - CTD when switching ON the batteries - Attitude indicator drop down when engines OFF fixed. - Cargo door status not shown on SD - Only left pump is active when starting engines from Cold & Dark - APU indicators sometimes do not appears on SD - Revised gear compression values for better stance - Pilot animation redone with microphones and headsets animated - Wing/Window camera view added - Minor retexturing in VC including wipers,... - Revised glazing textures for more reflectivity - ... We have been requested by some customers to improve the legibility and operation of the autopilot. There is now a fully 3D modelled autopilot in the Virtual Cockpit. The Paint Kits have been added on the product page. To download the latest version, please connect to your account and download version v1.2b. The old version will have to be uninstalled first. The new version is complete and doesn't require the first one. Please remember that this simulation is not intended to be a “deep-systems” Pilot in Command type product. It is, however, an accurate rendition of the CRJ NextGen series with mid-range features, flight dynamics and details. June 2, 201214 yr Thats a nice effort. Is it just me or does the VS, speed and a few other buttons on the AP VC not work? Along with the knobs turn backwards with the mouse center dial?

June 3, 201214 yr Author I haven't loaded it yet I'm watching what happens, I have 1.00, 1.00b and now 1,2b I,m not loading anything 'till it looks OK my FSX folder is sitting at 49GB and re-installs are a serious pain Lew HAL 9000....... When FMC's go bad........very bad

June 10, 201213 yr The new 1.2c is out and it is fixed for now. They don't really respond to emails well. I have mentioned all the bugs with the aircraft but they just respond with simple sentences like "Sir, the paintkit will come soon" after I wrote them an entire email on everything that wasn't right including the Flight Dynamics (which they continue to ignore). Wilco has published yet another overpriced addon that has little to no effort put into it. What a shame. PS The paintkit, you cannot work with it. You have no idea where to paint. Wait for the Aerosoft/DA CRJ.
June 10, 201213 yr This kinda is sad. I really really really want a good regional aircraft and just can't seem to find one. Was kinda hoping this was going to be great. June 11, 201213 yr Author I had a response from Wilco within 24hrs when I reported the VC AP knobs not working, they let me know 1.2c was out and the problem fixed, I can't complain about that service. Perhaps Wilco should consider releasing their products the way Captain Sim does now. I have the CS 777 released as a 0 release (beta sort of) and I pay less fpr it, I report bugs and get updates and fixes free. I f you want to wait and buy the ironed out (relatively) product you pay more. I have quite a few wilco products (and all PMDG products and countless others) and yes I have had problems with some and some won't work with win7 64 bit. With a bit of work most run well, some are stunners, the ERJ series I love and some are, well, ordinary, but overall I think Wilco catches a bit more than they deserve and most of the issues come down to poor PR and communications which I think is improving.
