June 9, 201213 yr So there I was thinking "where shall I fly from today" and decided to find out where the really dirty weather was so I could perform some stupid manouvers in my Eaglesoft Citation. I could see in the METARS that there was a big thunderstorm around Bolzano in Italy so I started up REX Essential and Tile Proxy and off we went.. In the real-world I would never go anywhere near a thunderstorm in our aircraft. But this is FSX :P REX Essential did very well to replicate the turbulence in and around the clouds you see in the pix. I stayed low at FL250 so I could fly THROUGH the CBs. It was really quite scary! The aircraft was pitching and yawing all over the place and the airspeed was a blur when we reached the centre of one of the CBs. Eventually we managed to escape and the weather onwards to Split was fine. Scenery along this part of the "Dalmation Coast" is fantastic as you can see. Hope you enjoy the pix! PS: Apologies for the red text on some of my pictures. Am still a bit of a screenshot newbie.. Adam Venice from FL250

June 10, 201213 yr Author Third one is amazing! Would you mind sharing your cloud and sky theme? Hi George, In REX Essential it's Sky Textures: Cold Blue, Cloud Textures: Cumulus 16. At the time there was a heavy thunderstorm and rain around Bolzano so I let REX choose the textures for the current weather and that is what it installed. Rather fitting don't you think! Regards, Adam
