July 22, 201213 yr Hi Tom. Not sure if you've done this, you probably have but here goes. Try saying the first part slow " altimeter ___ " pause " passing transition altitude now. " Also try saying only " passing transition altitude now." And see what happens. Cheers Lee Sent using Tapatalk No it will not work. I tried your suggestions but still no switch to approach! Cheers Tom
July 22, 201213 yr This is wierd. You've trained the pc to recognize it your pausing while you say it and it still doesn't work. Do you have any other FS2Crew versions tom? I know some others also use a similar sequence when passing through the transition level. Maybe try it on one of those and see what happens. I'll keep looking and see what I find. I'll try out the maddog today and see what I find. Lee Sent using Tapatalk

Lee Sent using Tapatalk Yes I have the version for the 737NGX as well and it works with no problems. maybe it could help if you tell me your lines after you asked for the Descent Checklist - maybe I do something wrong - but the computer is recognizing - "NOW" Soi what are your lines before it switch to the approach mode - is it possible that the problem is the much lower transition alt in europe? Kind Regards and thanks for help Tom
July 24, 201213 yr Commercial Member Tom, Try making a flight in the US with a Transition of 18,000 feet. See if that makes a difference in your case. But our main tester and consultant, who flies this plane for real, flies in Europe using EU style TA's and TL's. Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 24, 201213 yr please tell me if this is right: - Calling for Descent Checklist - get my answer by FS2Crew FO, - I set the altimeter at captains side manually to local when cleared below the transition, - then after passing the transition the "NOW" will set the same altimeter on FO site and FS2Crew switches to approach is this right or do I miss something? Kind Regards Tom
