June 20, 201213 yr Flightplans created with the default FS9 flightplanner are saved as xxxxxx.pln, right ?... Inside the PMDG 'Flightplans' folder flightplans have either an .rte or .rt2 extension. Question(s) : how does one create a flightplan that can be saved as xxxxx.rte ? Can it still be done with the default FS9 flightplanner or do i need a 3th party flightplanner ? Thanks much for any tips/hints ! cheers, jan Jan

June 20, 201213 yr Can it still be done with the default FS9 flightplanner or do i need a 3th party flightplanner ? Hello FScommander Or for a free solution use Pln2Rte to convert your .pln's to rte http://library.avsim...=root&Go=Search

June 20, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the tips, gents, abundage of options ! Yes, I remember FSNav ! I come from the 'dark side' , you know.. I never found the time to fly jetliners, not in FS9 and not in FSX. Only low and slow VFR. Now i have the time i find no fun in flying jetlliners in FSX because of the low fps around most of the big airports, while i do have a nice rig ( Alienware Area51 ALX). Reinstalled FS9, dressed up with all the goodies. Boy! What a difference that makes ! I think i'll go with FSNav. Long time no see. Will be great to work with it again ! Thanks again for the tips and links ! B) cheers, Jan Jan
