How to get wingview on a PMDG 737?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've been flying with a PMDG 737 for quite a while now but is there a way to get wingview for it?

Thank You

I just use EZCA and warp myself backwards out of the cockpit.

Unless I'm completely mistaken in regards to your question, you just press S to change view. Or right click>Aircraft>Wing views.

As I said, really. I used EZCA and set up the views I needed..

For simplicity, I started in the cockpit and moved aft, then rotated my eyepoint until it was looking out of a window and over the wing, and saved it as one of the EZCA views, assigning it to a convenient button. Then I rotated it 180 degrees and set up a view for the other wing.

Cheers,

And do you always get the wings with flaps invisible? Maybe it's better to get to external view and not to move from VC.

Yes, portions of the wing will always be invisible for the reduction of frame loss. The only way to combat this is to use the Aircraft views.

Isn't there any freeware softwares or can't you just adjust the panel.cfg? thanks though

Perhaps it is just me but I am not understanding this question. You can get a wing wing view by pressing s until you end up on the wing. Or just right click and select right or left wing forward or whatever.

Maybe I am missing your point though.

Hi,

when in the VC just press s to go to spot view and cycle through the preset positions with a and shift+a. You can also access them from the view menu. Because the exterior model is loaded, no control surfaces or flaps are missing.
