July 8, 201213 yr Have you tried SkyVector? Have you tried SkyVector? I have gotten to the point now that before every flight I check Skyvector, make a quick flight plan and if it is a direct flight ( no waypoints) I have the heading to fly once I take off. In addition it gives me the mileage and time to fly. Great website. http://skyvector.com/ It even remembers the last flight plan you had, if you go back to the site,.

July 8, 201213 yr Plan G is even better and generates a flight plan you can use in Gmap. See this thread. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/379059-how-to-create-flightplans-in-plan-g-and-use-them-in-gmap/

July 9, 201213 yr Here's another link to a list of all airports in Alaska (but this list is shown on one page - making it easier to find the airport), the list gives Airports names and codes - very useful when combined with Plan- G etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_in_Alaska
