June 6, 200421 yr Thanks Ron. I will try again later. Been looking forward to the Citation II. Looks like a winner:-)Larry
June 6, 200421 yr Hmmmm... I can't get there either, Ron.I clicked on the link in your sig, got the front page, and then clicked on "Enter Here". All I got was the "The Page Cannot Be Found" message. :( Greg
June 6, 200421 yr I haven't been able to access the site either, although I was online long enough to d/l the C-II. I wanted to post a query in the forums--namely, whether the gmax source for the C-II will get compiled under the FS2002 SDK. The visual model isn't visible in FS2002, which is usually caused by compiling under the new SDK. If visual features specific to FS2004 are being used, then the FS2004 SDK is a must. If not, compiling under that SDK may deny some sales in the FS2002 market. I fly both sims, and the model looks and flies fantastic in COF, btw.... Great fps in the interior and exterior views given my lowly system. I haven't had the need to fly the "lite" version. -John
June 6, 200421 yr Blah! I'm usually one of those low and slow VFR types, but I want to make the C-II my first Eaglesoft purchase. Frustrating to have credit card in hand and the Internet is saying "no". I'll wait a couple days and try again.Greg

June 7, 200421 yr I bought the model yesterday and it is very nice! Good job! It's a fun plane to fly and very nicely modeled.
June 7, 200421 yr Wow! No really... WOW!!!I just finished my first flight (from KLAS to KSMF... was in Vegas doing the virtual millionare thing :-) ).First observation... this ain't no RealAir Scout. The C-II is just a wee bit FASTER!What a nice flying airplane. I was a bit stumped without the POH (thanks for the link, Bill) but I managed to get the thing airborne and cruising at FL320.Next problem I had was that I couldn't see the prop. Just those to nacelle thingies at the back end. So, once the shock had worn off I flew across the desert and Sierra-Nevadas with a huge grin on my face.Everything worked wonderfully for me. The handling is very nice and buttery smooth. Not a single surprise there. Both the cockpit/cabin and the exterior model top notch. I especially liked the call-outs on approach and landing. Only problem I had was reading the guages in the VC (anybody got a spare set of younger eyes?). I flew the full version, and performance on my 3000+ Barton/9800 Pro was at the locked framerate (25) once I cleared KLAS (I still saw 18-20 taxing around KLAS).Now the good news... I managed to get it down in piece. Made a perfect on-the-numbers touchdown on 34L at KSMF. I certainly didn't want to bend a great creation like the C-II. And ground handling is smooth and predictable just like the flight model.Only problem I had was a darker than normal screen. Oh wait... That must have been because I was wearing my RayBan Aviators during the flight (which may explain why the family was snickering). Thanks EagleSoft team for a real keeper. I never thought I could have so much fun flying a bizjet. And thanks for the timely assistance in making my purchase today.:-beerchug Greg

It's unfortunate that we've been victimized by a rogue DNS somewhere along the line, so we're taking extra pains to be sure no one is left 'out in the cold,' so to speak. Thanks also for the kindnes, patience and indulgence of Avsim.com staff as well, while we wait for whatever is wrong to be righted. June 7, 200421 yr Great followup Greg...Sums up my experience with the C-II. I started a session in COF at 8:30AM PST this morning. Here it is, twelve hours later, and I'm still in the session, still flying the C-II. I've flown legs from SFO to Reno, Reno to Ontario, Ontario to Flagstaff, then down to Mexico to visit my wife's hometown (in style). On my way back to homebase in Phoenix, AZ.The FDE is outstanding in this A/C, but considering the designers, I'm not surprised. One thing I love about aircraft modelled with this detail, is that one can see the flight from any perspective. You can be a passenger in your own exclusive private jet, or an owner/pilot.The visual model designers have done a great job with dynamic shine. From the outside, the windows have depth and substance. It's a first rate job by a first rate team. If you are debating a payware purchase, and want an aircraft to fill the niche of a fast tprop or light bizjet, this aircraft fits. For $20, you have an aircraft that will get you there almost as fast as the "big boys", that will fly according to whim vs. an airline schedule, and can take off and land from virtually anywhere. If I had to choose just one payware add-on, it'd likely be this one...-JohnOnly payware add-on still on my wish-list is the Lancair IV-P. 300 kts in a piston single.... Hopefully, someone with the skills of Eaglesoft is listening...
