July 27, 201213 yr It was the FLIGHT community themselves. If it were such a great product, They didn't convey it to the rest of the comunities so well. All I ever heard was "Whats the next DLC. Or why doesn't the aircraft have VC's. Never how good it was. Flight should be moved down to the: Other Civil Aviation Simulators It doesn't deserve to be grouped with legends! July 27, 201213 yr All I ever heard was "Whats the next DLC. Or why doesn't the aircraft have VC's. Hello Closely followed by "if its more than $14.00 i'm out" So MS got out
July 27, 201213 yr Honestly, I probably would have, too. I don't think we as a community presented anything we would have been satisfied with short of Microsoft jotting down notes of the various demands (often made in capitol letters) and Implementing them hopefully within the week on FS11 I kept cringing, because even if it was only a minority (in the newly emerging mythology) that minority spoke long and loud while quieter voices went mostly absent, and that voice presented this community as a good candidate to back away from. I kept hoping against hope that Microsoft would stick in there and bull through it, but I, like many, I had my doubts, especially as the marketing showed little enthusiasm and poor decisions proliferated. Now it seems that the whole project may have been dead nearly on arrival from Microsoft's perspective and that's a blot on them certainly, but the "Gosh, us? We just made our concerns known......" vibe. Comports ill with the shrill rants that filled the web and are there forever; easily found and perused for posterity, and which eventually closed a forum here and made other sites block or segregate any discussion. I understood completely not liking flight (its a free world!) but what I saw....... Like my niece says "It was just not a good look." We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
