July 31, 201213 yr Hi Ben is this suitable for I7 2600K? If not what's the best memory for that particular CPU in your opinion, cost is no issue, it will be overclocked and I have a Asus Maximus Extreme IV B3. Thanks http://fs2crew.com/banners/Banner_FS2Crew_MJC_Supporter.png Wayne HART
July 31, 201213 yr Commercial Member Sorry Ben, but the best bang for the buck award has to go to these little suckers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147096 They have been reaching 2400 without much effort. July 31, 201213 yr I have 6GB of RAM and I don't have any issues but you could go up to 8GB and still keep it under $100 without a problem. Samuel Scully
July 31, 201213 yr THISis easily the best bang for buck RAM on the market at the moment. But its 1.65V....I can only have up to 1.5V right?
July 31, 201213 yr But its 1.65V....I can only have up to 1.5V right? This is a holdover from the 45nm generation. It no longer seems to be true. I'm stress-testing my RAM @ 1.68V as we speak - no issues yet.
July 31, 201213 yr This is a holdover from the 45nm generation. It no longer seems to be true. I'm stress-testing my RAM @ 1.68V as we speak - no issues yet. So running RAM that are 1.65V wont mess up my MBO or CPU? People have tols me so...
July 31, 201213 yr Air France I suspect most of you earlier problem is related to you having 1.5v on a 1.65v memory stick. This is not over volting.. if the manufacturer says, that memory stick requires 1.65 v why would you expect it to work properly with 1.5v? Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
July 31, 201213 yr HI You ar safe 24/7 at 1.7V Tomorrow a visit Elmor his back in sweden for holiday, hi have some stuff for me. Can it be a couple of mem sets? You see him with the MSI shirt. http://
July 31, 201213 yr Commercial Member Air France, like the guys have said, you will be fine at 1.65v. That's what the ram needs. You'll be fine. Regards, Efrain RuizLiveDISPATCH @ http://www.livedispatch.org (CLOSED) ☹️
