August 1, 201213 yr So basically the only airplanes I fly anymore are Airbuses, and I want a stick that I can use with my left hand. Is there anything out there that closely simulates an airbus joystick? Jerad Burns
August 1, 201213 yr I had the same question as yours and I found the answer: Thrustmaster T1600. It appears it is almost the only joystick that can be configured for left or right hand (very easily). In addition, it is a very good stick, its hall effect brings a very good feeling, the closest from the real thing. I had the luck to fly Level-D A320 and A340 sims so I can tell how the real stick feels. Last good news, it is quite cheap :) The only detail I don't like is the base green lighting when the stick moves, annoying when flying at night with low light. Eric My Web Site

August 1, 201213 yr Eric Eric, a bit OT here but. Will you ever fix the "fuel prediction" function in the evo wilco airbus ? Thanks
August 1, 201213 yr I found the Thrustmaster T16000M to be a really good stick. Configurable for left hand, it's very nice to hold and to use it is great. I reviewed it for Avsim: http://www.avsim.com/pages/0212/Thrustmaster/Joystick.html Benjamin van Soldt Windows 10 64bit - i5-8600k @ 4.7GHz - ASRock Fatality K6 Z370 - EVGA GTX1070 SC 8GB VRAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX @ 3200MHz - Samsung 960 Evo SSD M.2 NVMe 500GB - 2x Samsung 860 Evo SSD 1TB (P3Dv4/5 drive) - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - Seasonic FocusPlus Gold 750W - Noctua DH-15S - Fractal Design Focus G (White) Case
August 1, 201213 yr Commercial Member Have spent a fair bit of time on A320/330 LVL-D sims, only joystick I would suggest is the logitech attack 3. (unless you want to buy a replica side stick) http://www.logitech....g/joysticks/302 Cheap.... http://www.flightdec...c_type.php?id=3 Not so Cheap ;) Also, here's a good place to buy cheap replica thrust levers, I bought the A320 levers and paid a bit extra for the thrust range markings and engine start switches. works perfectly, plan on picking up the 777 levers once PMDG roll out the 777 http://fsthrottles.com/Products.html Rob Prest
August 1, 201213 yr Do note that the Logitech Attack 3 has no POV hat. For me that would be a deal breaker, but if you have other means to control your view in the VC (or if you don't use the VC) that should not be a problem of course. August 1, 201213 yr Commercial Member Never seen a POV hat on the real one either ;) Anyway, TrackIR for me or I can click the middle mouse button and pan using the mouse. Rob Prest
August 1, 201213 yr http://www.routech.r...s-318&Itemid=68 Real as it gets (they're exactly the same as the "real" real ones, and you get a tiller, too!) Downside is they're for home 'pits, but I bet it could be modded (or they'd do it for you..) JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
