August 1, 201213 yr Very witty, the title reminds me of one time when I was jump-seating in uniform and the CC asked if I would like to do the safety demo. Jumping at this chance, and with the Purser standing beside me, ready to jump in if I miss anything, I carry off on my little speech until I declare "In the Likely event we need to evacuate, exits are located....", realising just as I was saying it that it wasn't the right word, immediately everyone, or close to it, stares up at me, Eeek. On the plus side though, it turns out that most people actually do listen to the safety demo, so that's one plus right? :good: Ró. August 1, 201213 yr Funny video, Devon, and funny anecdote, Ró. Speaking of safety demos ... when I travel, I always watch the flight attendants (or the video) and listen to the demos--although I could probably recite it by heart. I wonder how many people do, though; lots of people talk and read while the flight attendants are speaking. Probably a topic for another thread, but another thing I do is count seatbacks to the emergency exits as I walk toward my seat ... Joel Murray @ CYVR (actually, somewhere about halfway between CYNJ and CZBB)
August 2, 201213 yr "In the unlikely event that our flight should become a cruise, seat cushions may be used for flotation." I heard that one on a Southwest flight one day.
August 2, 201213 yr :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: Reminds me of this one: i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
August 2, 201213 yr College Humour should do sketches like those more often as I find them really funny. There are some videos on YouTube of real world cabin crew making funny safety announcements but unfortunately i never seem to get any on an actual flight.
