August 11, 201213 yr Decided to force myself to fly CRM by going right down the list in the CRM KMZ of photoreal areas.. I am flying from point to point in order of appearance regardless of distance.. This should give me something to accomplish over the month. :) Todays sights in order of appearance Dalles Dam McNary Dam Hanford Nuclear Facilities LIGO Hanford Observatory Richland Airport ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
August 11, 201213 yr How do you tell if a place is photoreal in the Google Earth file? Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
August 11, 201213 yr Great Shots! Shame about the plastic plane? :P ....although for those who like such beasts it looks an excellent model ^_^ So much scenery, so little time to explore it all? Keep 'em coming Bill. BTW especially like the just before sunset shots. Geoff Geoff Brown
August 11, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the kind words from everyone. How do you tell if a place is photoreal in the Google Earth file? Gregg in the side bar of Google earth all the regions are broken down in a tree structure to toggle items off and on.. For CRM one of the areas is called "photoreal areas". For PNW there are two areas "Photoreal Points Of Interest and Photoreal Glaciers". NRM and PFJ don't have any photoreal areas listed on their respective KMZs.. Now I don't know if there isn't any or there is and they just never included the locations in the KMZ ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
