Where are the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 addon liveries. Are they available? The liveries that came with it look pretty bad!

The repaint kit is available on the download page. You are free to paint your own liveries if you feel that ours "look pretty bad".

FYI, some of the best in the business did those which are included in the package....

Eaglesoft Policy is that it does not offer Product Support at any FS public forum. While incidental tips by former or current team members exist there remain sound reasons for not providing Product Support here at Avsim or other Public Forums..

Number One on the list is that users often resort to mini flame wars and/or competitors comparisons under the guise of "Support for my product."

If Eaglesoft Product users wish to have Authentic Product Support it is available only to Registered Eaglesoft Support Forum Users.

Those are sound reasons for sure but oftentimes its easier to get help with some problems by posting on AVSIM because:

 

1. Some issues are more procedural and not technical aka user doing something stupid (guilty :rolleyes: )

2. Sometimes, it takes awhile for to get a response on the Eaglesoft support forum

 

I don't like sitting and waiting for hours or days for a response to a problem regardless of whether its a genuine technical issue or a stupid user issue.

Same. I don't see the harm with others asking others about an aircraft if you can get a quicker response or it is something simple like in this thread.

I am sure you are the leader on Authentic support, but this statement stands true. I love your Citation X, but it was a nightmare getting onto the forums. It was days, and ultimately had to come here, to try to get your attention, at which time I then was activated on the forums for Help.

 

It was also, ultimately HERE that I get the support that I needed for the same issue above, not on the support forums. I 100% agree with your decision for you to make in not having your staff help people outside of the EagleSoft support forums, but it is up to the community weather or not they would like to help a fellow member.

 

On my own site, I have a thread to help my fellow club members out with the Fadec system, that is not on your support forums as of the last time I check, be that a while ago, as I for some reason have no access to them anymore.

We could not care less about the fact that users assist each other either in public forums or personal sites.

In fact we support such user assistance in our own forums and often post user solutions for all to benefit from.

 

Imagine a scenario where product support is available only from users in public forums by those who did not build and therefore do not have intimate product knowledge.

Multiply that scenario over the many FS forums and the nightmare becomes evident.

Further to the point is the fact that some love the fodder of mistatements and misunderstandings which often accompany isolated "tips" and the recipe is unmanageble.

Again, Authentic Product Support remains available only at Eaglesoft Dedicated Product Forums.
