August 31, 201213 yr How do I change the default settings for the barometer? What I mean is, that every time I start the 737 NGX I change it from inHg to hPa. And I have to change it two different places. It would be awesome if I didn't have to change it every time I start up the airplane. Kind regards Peter
August 31, 201213 yr Set them to hPa, then save the panel state (and load when you start a new flight)? That's what I do. Rich Richard Bowman
August 31, 201213 yr Author Thanks. That would be one way to do it, but I think I've seen a thread once herein where it's done in some sort of a *.ini file. And I would like to know what to write and in what specific file to write it. Kind regards Peter

August 31, 201213 yr Peter, go to your Microsoft '...\Flight Simulator X\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\' folder. Open the .SAV file you want to alter - i. e. NGX SHORT.SAV - and search the follwing entry Baro Switch=0 Change the value form '0' to '1'. The next time you load the NGX SHORT.SAV the Baro should be set to hPa. Make sure that you make a proper backup of the file before altering it, so you can go back if there's a problem. Christian Mohr
August 31, 201213 yr I find more confortable to load the flight and save it against searching the file, opening, find the string, modify it and then load fsx. Regards Andrea Daviero
