November 13, 201213 yr Author Ok, it seems that some trees and forests in the scenery are from the FF library So, please download and install this one as well. My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
November 13, 201213 yr Ah! Great!!!! Looking fwd to test it tonight!!!! My favorite approaches are to LPMA, on every sim I was able to do it in, including fs4, atp, fs9, fsx, elite, fly, ps1, and now xp10 :-) Ah! and I once had the chance to fly the LevelD Airbus simulator at TAP's headquarters at LPPT. Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

November 15, 201213 yr There's a "gap" between the "bridge" part of the rw and the rest, and aircraft can break apart when traversing it... Of course if taking off on rw 5, with smaller aircraft, you can get airborne before :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 17, 201213 yr Author There's a "gap" between the "bridge" part of the rw and the rest, and aircraft can break apart when traversing it... Of course if taking off on rw 5, with smaller aircraft, you can get airborne before :-) Yes, it's true, there's still a small gap on the right part (seen from rwy 23) of the runway. Usually I didn't have any problems, sometimes I heard a bang when rolling over this gap, but nothing else happened. Did you have this issue with more aircraft or only one or a specific type (large or small) or ... whatever? However, it should be possible to fix this easily in a later release. My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
November 17, 201213 yr Hi, I had it mostly with smaller aircraft, like the C172, the Baron58 - On the twins one of the engines usually hits the rw and is damaged :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
January 9, 201313 yr Author There was already a great scenery of Madeira (orthophotos and many, many objects around the island) from XPFR. They and me worked for integrating the airport into that island scenery. Now you can download the result. Important: You should read the included readme file carefully for installation. If you already downloaded the old orthophoto scenery, you need to download it again (link in the readme), as the mesh around the airport is modified. Unfortunately no HD mesh is possible (yet?), so the rear side of the airport is a bit simplified. Nevertheless, the thrill of flying into LPMA is preserved . March 10, 201313 yr Author Some more pictures (W.I.P.) Did you EVER fly below a runway (will be possible in the next update)? My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...

March 14, 201313 yr In regard of flying or in regard of scenery design? At least in regard of design! I haven't yet seen your flying skills :-) X-Plane10 owes a LOT to tallented people like you, the author of the New Zealand scenery, and other scenery and aircraft designers making their projects available for free at the .org, 3pds like LES and Ramzes or JRollOn (*), and users like FLY-BY-FIVE and Pirata who keep the good energies comming :-) !!! (*) I should not forget the author of the add-ons for X-Plane from Carenado. I bought two and they were very good!
