I just don't care for the mix of XP.

We gathered as much. If the whole package is of no interest to you, then X-Plane is not for you. No need to go on and on about it though.

Sorry to bother you...don't read my posts if it's of real issue to you. This is a thread for noobs what else would you expect.

You're just drawing this post out uselessly. I expected after you stated that "I just don't care for the mix of XP" you would move on.

The post I made about sound @10:13 was in response to Murmers post @9:54. Sorry if you thought it was directed toward you. I will adhere to the "posting limits" from now on dear sir.

Gentlemen - Let's be nice and try to get back on topic. Thanks!

Best regards,

Jim

Well, you know, some flight sims have terrible engine sounds; some others have a terrible weather model, so that you can fly in the middle of the thunderstorm without consequences, or land on an icy runway with 50kts x-wind.

I know which one to choose between the two.

Of course, "real" pilots, wouldn't be flying in the middle of a thunderstorm, or landing on icy runways with 50kts crosswinds.

Is there a "fantasy" sim, that simulates these "what ifs"?

Actually, every year, a lot of real pilots fly in the middle of thunderstorms or land with x-winds exceeding limits. Most of them end up in the news (and on NTSB reports).

On the other hand, no real pilot has ever attempted towing a B747 with a C172 (see other post).

Anyway, of course my post was only in direct response to the other post. If you use multiple times the terms "terrible" and "horrible" referring to X-Plane in an X-Plane forum, the least you can expect is a response in defence of X-Plane.

"Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
