September 17, 201213 yr My frames are usually between 40 and 90fps(depending on cloud being drawn etc), so I am perfectly happy with performance. Always curious to try things, to see if any more improvement can be eaked out. Regards Simon

September 19, 201213 yr You'll have very few problems...even if settings are near max WITH HDR enabled. ehh.... I somewhat disagree. -Even though XPX uses hardware more efficiently than the older sim FSX, it still doesn't run anywhere near "smooth" on max settings with my system. - Especially with HDR rendering enabled... XPX still seems to be pretty hardware hungry.

XPX still seems to be pretty hardware hungry. Is your system as beefy as the OP's? Also, I did say he could run X Plane at "near max" with HDR enabled.
