September 18, 201213 yr Hi folks, So, i wanted to ask a real-world aviation question, and, seeing as the Avsim Forums allow this in the "Hanger chat", i figured i'd take my oppertunity. So, i was generally browsing through the Avsim library, and saw all the "new season timetables" the Alpha India Group make, the traffic programme. Afterwords, i was browsing the "Famous Aviation website that has the first word of Airliners", and was wanting to know some scheds for the W12/13 British Airways Timetable. Next year, i really, REALLY, RREEAAALLLLYYYY want to go on a 77W, seeing as i have only ever been on the -200's. Now, i wish to go somewhere in the US, and, this is my problem: ANZ (ANZ001) : dont, really...want...to...go...to...LA, even if it is for a one night stop AAL : to DFW, dont really wanna head to Texas, a little TOOO warm.... (but if its the only chance) AC: Its possbale to go Air Canada, but, it would be quite expensive.... which only leaves BAW. So, the main question is, when do we get to know the new Summer 2013 Timetable for British Airways, or, roughly, when do we get to know most S13 timetables? And/or, if any people have any other suggestions for going on a 777-300ER (77W) to the USA, it would be greatfully appriciated. Furthermore: If i do manage to get on one, i think it'll have to be my first flight with the 777-300ER that PMDG will make, seeing as ill be re-creating my first 777-200ER flight when that expansion is released (BA, Gatwick-Orlando) -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
September 18, 201213 yr You can also use FlightAware.com to find out what routes BA are flying with a 77W. Currently BAW28 is inflight from Hong Kong and BAW179 is inflight to KJFK. I would consider going to Hong Kong in a 77W as Hong Kong is one of the best airports in the world right now. The trip is also 12h 31m or 5,990sm which is what travel on a 77W is all about really, long distances. Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
September 19, 201213 yr Author Pretty sure we use the -300 on the ORD. All the time? Because i remmeber seeing a route that the "300" Operated when you guys first got it, then instead of going there, it went to somewhere else, or are places such as KJFK and KORD the most likely to remain? Thanks for your reply! You can also use FlightAware.com to find out what routes BA are flying with a 77W. Currently BAW28 is inflight from Hong Kong and BAW179 is inflight to KJFK. Now, as far as i believe, "Favourate" routes of BA's 77W's appear to be KORD AND KJFK. however they often change the timetable so somewhere else gets it. so i need to know where they plan on going for S13, because, theres no point missing out by just saying "forget it", i dont want to commit myself to going with KJFK, incase they change the flight number itself (E.G it could depart around 10, but they may change it to 2) so, yeah, i need to know the S13 Timetable before i commit myself. However, i did see BA operated the 77W for two days over early September to Denver, so, again, i want to know the S13 timetbale incase they will fly it to DEN... -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
