ok, heres a recap, ive since added JOYSTICKS=1 from my [CONTROLS] section. ive cut/pasted and deleted my FSX.CFG from %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX and fsx did not create a new one. ive reinstalled my mouse drivers. ive uninstalled FS2crew. ive tried unplugging all my Saitek stuff. ive tried moving my yoke around and it does not affect the movement of your mouse. ive tried three different mouses, one wired and two wireless. and ive tried Starting up the machine from power off without the mouse plugged in. Then plug the mouse in and fireing up FSX. nothing was worked, its just getting the annoing and frustrating now! sorry for spelling errors. also i posted me question in multiple forums becuse i was hoping to get a wider spectrum of people to help.

Next thing I would try then is delete but backup first your contols.xml file and let it build a new one. This isn't an FSX.cfg thing.

Where's contols.xml located, same place as FSX.cfg.

Don't bother doing that now if you already made a new FSX.cfg it already wrote a new controls.xml.

That is the file though to backup before you ever make new fsx.cfg files you ever modify your keyboard and button settings.

Time now to start lookin at dot net and vc++ installations. They could have gotten hosed also.

Video seems to show some other device trying to take over your input.

Set your fsx.cfg to autoload a free flight so it actually enters the flying world. Maybe try to get the game running full screen see if it still happens.

I guess next I would start by uninstalling any input device software and drivers. Then uninstall them from device manager. Reboot and let Windows redetect hardware.

I tried flying with the ifly jets and I got Different reactions yet again. When I fly the ifly 737 my hatswitch works but my mouse Cursor is giving me the same Effect that my hatswitch does. Also am able to use my mouse freely in the 2D cockpit and am able to Access all my settings without my mouse bugging out. As soon as I exit the flight and fsx go's to the free flight menu my mouse works fine For a few seconds then I can't click on Anything when I try it makes a ding sound, but yet the task Manager says its running and not not Responding????? Also my saitek throttle Quadrant is not working now.

ive cut/pasted and deleted my FSX.CFG from %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX and fsx did not create a new one.

It appears you are not deleting the right fsx.cfg. There's another file in the same folder that states fsx.txt (generated if there's a FSX error). You may have "hide extensions for known file types" checked in your settings. If you actually did delete the fsx.cfg, a new one would definitely be built so you need to resolve this issue before you go any further with messing with your controllers/mice. Copy %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX then go to the Start button, click on All Programs then scroll up to Accessories then click on Run. Once Run is open, paste the information into the box and click OK. This will open up the folder User(your user name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX unless it is hidden (the folder is hidden by default). If it opens, right click on FSX.cfg and select delete. If you cannot see the folder, then open Windows Explorer so you can 'see' hidden files. Look up in the Menu and click on Tools>Folder Options. In Folder Options, click on the View Tab and look down at Advanced Settings. In Advanced Settings, look under Files and Folders. Look for Hidden files and folders and click on Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click on Apply in the lower right corner. That's it. Now open up the fsx.cfg location and delete OR rename your fsx.cfg. Restart FSX. It will ask you if you trust certain things. Always click Yes until you get to the startup screen. In the startup screen, click on Settings, then Controls. Look to see if your controller is recognized. If so, click on calibrate. Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jim
