Airbus 330 for FS9...

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a good Airbus package to purchase for fs9, pref the 330 series.... I am not sure if there is something out there up to the standard of LDS or PMDG?

The only real choice you can have is CLS (very lite) or WIlco/FeelThere A330.

I cannot recommend any of them unless you are not a demanding simmer (and looks like you are). Sorry.

Mmmm... not exactly Level-D/PMDG standards, but there are two payware options for the A330:

- Wilco Airbus vol.2: nice panel and VC, however, the external model is all wrong, specially the landing gear. You may like to merge it with Posky or Overland (I understand someone installed the Wilco gauges in the Overland VC).

- PSS: Still on sale, good systems (some people say better than Wilco), but FDE must be replaced because it was designed for FS8. The model is also an old one, but at least, it looks like an A330.

Freeware, in Simviation there is a Qantas A330; Posky model and VC, Eric Marciano's panel. Look for "FS2004/2002 Posky V2 Qantas Airbus A330-301 Package" there... or wait for Project Airbus' A330.

A320... I'm surprised Rafal hasn't yet chimed in here suggesting Airsimmer :P . The systems are more detailed and you'll love the VC; the only thing is that it's only the A320: no A318, no A319 and no A330.

EDIT: Oops... Rafal types too fast...

Thanks guys, as suspected I thought the answer was not, but that link provided looks very promising. I'm also after a 757 but I suspect this is more straightforward as captain sim seems to be a good choice

You can also get a nice 757 here ---> www.qwsim.com

Well, he wrote he prefers A330, so I didn't even think of mentioning A320.

If I misread though, then of course AirSimmer, AirSImmer or AirSimmer, my favourite of all those long simming years.

1. Wilco and good luck solving tons of 'riddles' .

2.Merge your Wilco+CLS or CLS+PSS

3. Hope that Airsimmer will deliver their words regarding the next 330/340 project right after 320 advanced is done'

4. Get Airsimmer basic 320, it aint 330 but it is pretty close since airbus family ... well you get the idea

Several seem to use the POSKY model merged with the PSS panel.
