Make sure it is enabled on your computer. Do you hear sound when you first start up Windows? Look into the Device Manager and see if it is properly installed (right-click on the Computer Icon on your desktop and select Properties. Once open look to the left side and you will see Device Manager). You can also get to it by clicking on the Start button then right clicking Computer up in the Menu and selecting Properties. I just think it is very strange your sound card device is not being registered in the FSX.cfg.

 

That's a great idea regarding the uiautomationcore.dll search. The search should give you several instances of CTD's throughout the FlightSim Community. Maybe you'll see a solution there too!

When I load Windows I to get the normal sound you hear, even in FSX.

Well on your first FSX.cfg you submitted it showed:

Like Ramon stated, you just need to go into FSX settings and select your video card.

 

Go into the dll.xml (same locations as your FSX.cfg) and look for VistaMare and, in the line that states 'disableFalsedisable', change the false to True, save, then run FSX.

Hello everyone,

 

Well a quick update, I took y PC tothe shop where I had it built and explained to them what the problem I am having, they kept for a few days and had look.

 

They say that my Memory was overclock or something like that.

 

It is now working fine without any freezes...............................I hope its a long term fix, but as we all know with FSX anything can happen.

I have not looked over this total post but I have always recommended one check memory configurations in the bios. I don't do it all the time but guess I should as this is becoming one of the main reasons for FSX to crash. Setting the memory on Automatic in the BIOS doesn't ensure the memory will run properly. Some boards, like ASUS have had issues handling installed memory. The timings, the frequencies, the voltages must be in compliance with the memory ratings and as shown under the SPD tab in CPU-Z. If it is not, your computer will run great for days, weeks, maybe months, then it will suddenly crash when some program like FSX tests its settings.

 

Glad you were able to fix the problem and hope it doesn't return and you can enjoy your system and FSX for a long time!
