Finally bought OpusFSX and the weather is mind blowing. Just having some jerkiness when changing views, right at the beginning of the transition. It doesn't happen

on windowed mode. I tried the beta software but it still there.

This software made the air you fly in beliveable, great work thanks

I've got it working with TrackIR, but haven't figured how to do the camera views yet. I really like the setup interface, but can't seem to make it apply the settings to the aircraft.

Hi Robert. Go to the camera control dialog, hit the "Assign Aircraft Types To Camera view" button and highlight the aircraft you want the camera view to apply to and hit "Save All Cameras".

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hi Joe

Someone else has reported a jerkiness when changing views in full screen mode but not windowed, seems to be a funny within FSX. We don't do anything different within the software and can't tell which window mode you have selected. Anyway we will see if anything can be done but I think FSX is just giving our 6DOF calls a low priority in full screen mode and ignoring some of them, hence the jerky effect. We spend a lot of time trying to get around the limitations/bugs within FSX.

Hi all

Have been looking at OPUS and I am not sure what exactly the live camera is or how it works in conjunction with TrackIR. Can someone explain it to me please?

Thanks

Hi Craig

You can download the user manuals from our website.

Basically Live Camera enables you to create different viewpoints which can be displayed either by default when the aircraft loads or upon joystick button or keyboard key presses. Dynamic Head Movement can be associated with camera views.

TrackIR can be used in the normal manner to look around when Live Camera views are displayed or you can simply use joystick hat switch panning or mouse look.

Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl. Very helpful.

Opus Team,

the problem is still there. I have tried all possible actions "outside" Opus but I can't get rid of the issue. I have also raised the point in the other Opus Forum. I'd be interested in understanding if only me and DeCampos are affected by this issue or if it is a common problem.

The other question is: have you managed to reproduce the issue ? Fixing this issue Is still in your "to do" list ?

Fixing this issue would be really great.

Thanks

I thought we had fixed this on beta 2.29.5. If you have installed this beta or later and you still have a problem then does it happen in windowed mode as opposed to full screen?

Regards

Cheryl

It happens only in full screen....in windowed mode it is OK.

I have the latest 2.30.2 installed.
