November 2, 201213 yr Anyone willing to try this?????? Skip to last 3 minutes for best bit. They sounded like they were under a bit of pressure around 7:17 Anthony O'Brien
November 2, 201213 yr Commercial Member This video appears quite a lot. You can download some very nice payware scenery for VQPR. http://secure.simmar...(es_5391).phtml I used to fly this approach alot with the Airsimmer advanced, Flight directors off, FPV on and raw data all the way. The perfomance calculations for take off can be pretty interesting. Btw- That vid is a A319, druk air use overpowered aircraft on there fleet (A321 engines) The last pic is 10minutes after landing (brake fans off) and the brakes are still + 500c! Regards Rob Prest
November 2, 201213 yr Author Been there, done that Brilliant! On my "Favourite list" @Ró ; @FLEX1978 Is this payware scenery of the airport and immediate area only, i.e the terrain is default FSX???? Anthony O'Brien
November 2, 201213 yr That one is a great one. The other ones I enjoy is Innsbruck, Austria or Queenstown, New Zealand. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
November 2, 201213 yr Yeah, Paro is amazing! Kai Tak is no longer used, but that was one hell of an approach! Been there, done that... Have you ever gone into Samos(LGSM), Ronan? Considered a very challenging approach: DIMITRI
November 3, 201213 yr Fully agree on Samos! Greek islands have all those types of non-precision and visual approaches!
November 3, 201213 yr Have you ever gone into Samos(LGSM), Ronan? Not in real life, the most "Dangerous" airport I've ever flown into would be Madiera, still holding out for Innsbruck though, that'd be awesome. I've checked Samos out in FSX before, but it's really in need of some add-on scenery to make the approach more interesting, the default doesn't quite cut it for me... Who knows, there've been a fair few Greek airport islands released recently, Samos may well be on the list of some of those developers. Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
