November 8, 201213 yr the Saitek x65F is a great option for the VRS.. Hi Damien! Would it be worth the upgrade, from my current x52pro? DIMITRI
November 8, 201213 yr Sorry for asking, but does that discount lead to the reduction of the (VRS) forum account? I recall them having a strange policy, allowing the buyers of the reduced stuff from other shops to only read their forums, not post there. I'm just wondering if they still have that in place. Other than that, it's a great product indeed.
November 8, 201213 yr I'm just wondering if they still have that in place. I dont think this is the case anymore,Cool,as I bought it several months ago from another place, and heve posted without any problem. Regards. DIMITRI
November 8, 201213 yr Now that's good news. I was like back then as some 'reduced' folks reported about that policy. Did anyone test it with the Tacpack beta yet? I'm running her with a Logitech G940 by the way.
November 8, 201213 yr Hi Damien! Would it be worth the upgrade, from my current x52pro? I honestly couldn't tell ya.. I originally came from an old microsoft stick, and that itself was a hell of an upgrade. I've got no working experience with the x52. Between you and me though, I like the ability to have separate control over multiple throttles but many of my buttons are unassigned. I don't use the software to make assignments so it's largely underutilized I guess. I use FSUIPC for assignments. One thing I have noticed in my experiences though is it does not seem to work with the Aerosoft HueyX. -Damien Damien Furtman Hovering Hellion
November 8, 201213 yr First I heard about that. I will have to try and register, as I already registered with the little exe. thing that pops up, and it went fine. William Sequeira
November 9, 201213 yr I just installed it yesterday evening, and took her for a little spin, without going into the systems at all, just had her on the RWY with the engines started. That baby flies really well, no way to compare it to the default F18. Also the model, it's just stunning. This is indeed one of the best addons I've ever bought! Now I'm looking forward to gonig into the manual to learn how to poperly oerate her. Flo Florian
November 9, 201213 yr In case one doesn't know, really check out the freeware carriers http://fsxblueangels.com/aicarriers%20download%20template.html to receive a proper training spot for all night and day carrier ops. You won't regret it since the detail of those ships is just amazing and you can even pick different deck and lighting setups. Not to mention the fleet layout. So if you are up for landing on a ship, this will give you some challenge for sure.
