Hi all, I've just upgraded my version of GEX Europe 2.10 DVD set to the new 2.30 version. I now have two folders of GEX in program files, one is called Ground Enviroment X Europe which is the original install and after the upgrade to 2.30 I have another folde named GEX Europe, so my question is do I delete the original folder or leave them both there? hope some one can clarify this for me.

I'm pretty sure you are supposed to uninstall the older version first. Did you do that? If so, check out how much room the older folder takes.

Thanks for the reply ivanm, well I'm now sure I was supposed to unistall the old version but in programs the only version I have is the 2.30 version, the install went smooth and say's it's version 2.30 but I have feft over folders of the old version. The size is as follows: size-3.21kb, size on disk-12.0kb, contains 3 files 0 folders.

You didn't follow the directions posted on their forums

I haven't installed it myself yet so I can't tell for sure. But the folder sizes seem miniscule...It does seem like the older version is uninstalled.

When you uninstall, it leaves folders and some files behind. Just delete the old folders and the old backup folder which will be gex-backup. The new backup folder should be GEX_Region-backup

Yep just deleted the old version files and all is good, thanks guy's.
