I am still getting a "MASTER WARNING" flash at high alt (above FL320) - my pressure dial is set to the correct alt and cabin pressure dial is in the green.

 

 

What settings is everyone using for high alt cruise. I have installed SP1..

There is a correction that you need to make to a gauge.

under fsx "gauges" folder

create folder and name the folder "GAUGEB200" (without the inveted commas naturally-some might already have it if you applied some tweaks)

open the gaugeb200.cab file.

extract all the data (files) to the newly created folder called "GAUGEB200"

rename the "gaugeb200.cab" file to "gaugeb200_orig_SP1.cab"

(that way you still have the backup original gauge. FSX will from now on read the data from the folder called "gaugeb200"

 

now open find the file "Gauge_Anum_MASTER_WARNING.xml"

now about 20 lines down you will find this section

Carenado changed the pressure gauge to have a differential of 15000 feet but have not corrected the warning light difference.

change this line

to

 

(A:PRESSURIZATION CABIN ALTITUDE, feet) 15000 > or

 

save the xml file.

Excellent Bob, these tips are definitely making this plane more and more flyable!

Do you need to repack the cab file with this change? If so, can you please explain this process as I've never messed around with cab files before.

As explained above. extract to folder with the same name. rename the cab file. FSX will from then on read the folder. No need to re-"cab".
