November 10, 201213 yr Its a bit of a hefty download but its worth it. I also have the other Napulevola LIRN and photoreal scenery for the Naples area. I am going to that area next year on holiday and together they make for some great views, Vesuvius is smoking still and the aquaducts and flyovers look amazing. If you have the space download the lot and be very happy. Screenshots will follow soon!
November 10, 201213 yr Thanks for the HU, that sounds very interesting. Could you please just tell me to where I can get it? Cheers, Flo Florian
November 10, 201213 yr I didn't download it as I thought it wold conflict with my other Napulevola LIRN and photoreal scenery for the Naples area (which also includes Vesuvius). I went to Sorrento for a week about 5 years ago and spent a day in Pompeii and a most interesting day it was too. FYI, I wasn't impressed with Sorrento but if you are down that way, you must drive or take a coach trip down the Amalfi coast. It's where they filmed the Italian Job and very scenic. November 10, 201213 yr I have the scenery but can't remember where it was from. Try http://www.freewares...2004/italy.html The airport is top notch. As for the Amalfi coast. The road is 44kms. long with a mere 900 bends (effectively 1 bend every 50metres)!!! There's one famous sign pointing to "Positano 11km" but from the sign post Positano is actually only 2km as the crow flies. Sorrento is famous for ice-cream and super quality marquetry furniture. Pompeii is disappointing after Herculaneum and Leptis Magna. One would do better to go further down the coast to Paestum.
