New Hobbit color scheme and new tail color as well "777-300ER"

YPPH is a very difficult airport for wind conditions, especially with the shear creating by the Darling Range.

Yeah, it was obviously made worse by the meterological conditions yesterday. Considering trees and stuff were being uprooted, I'd say the wind was stronger than usual...

It's amazing how this thread segued from a new ANZ colour scheme to weather conditions in PER.

It was only doing it on departure and when we hit turbulence. I believe it was either the seat or window in front of me. Not a lot I could have done since was a full flight.

It annoys me greatly that Qantas "overlooked" the t7. All their competiton, Emirates, Malaysian, Singapore and Qatar, to name a few all operate the t7 into aus, yet Qantas continue to operate the a330, a380 and 767. As Virgin is the only aussie t7 operator, I doubt I'll ever ride an aussie one.

Well Ryan, from Perth you can fly the T7 with ANZ to LAX, or SIA. Or EK. SIA have now changed back to the A330s........But their 777s had thin seats as far as I recall. At least the CX 777s had thicker seats. The QF 767s have the thinnest seats I have ever seen. I don't think the 737s can come close.

Thanks to ANZ and EK we have a 'choice bro' of flying the T7s to almost anywhere in the world. Wish Cathay would introduce a T7 service to Perth with humidifiers. Their A330s aren't bad though.

I din't know SIA were re-introducing the a330 on the PER routes. Looks like our 4 t7 services have dwindled to 3...

Haven't ever been on a QF 767, always caught the a330s or 737s, which weren't too bad.

Qantas have just FINALLY (after millenia!) just renewed their 767s now to include inflight entertainment. Since they bought their A330s with the eye candy, I suppose they are looking a bit stupid when People say some flights have inflight TVs yet others do not.....

It is on their web site about the 767s... http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/b767-refurbishment/global/en?int_cam=au:info:promo:B767-refresh:lang:en

Great video. It got me ecxited on two fronts. First to get the 777 next to see the movie! My kids loved the instruction video.

Cool pics and videos, but copyrighted pics can't be posted here. Feel free to provide direct links to the pics if their policies allow that. We've been there before in the past with these big sites about copyrights, and don't wish to go there again.
