Release Date of A2A or RealAir C-172?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have an idea as to when we can expect either of these firms to release their 172?

As a RW student pilot I'm eagerly waiting... :Waiting:

I don't know but I'd guess a while.

While you're waiting.... and depending on which version your trainer plane uses, download Alexander Metzger's fde update for default C172 (160hp) or Realair's version (180hp)

Neither A2A or Realair ever commit to a release date.

It will be released when it is ready.

Guestimate is as good as anyones.. I dont forsee either released before 2nd Q 2013

I wish developers would just keep new things under wraps. Missed release dates and inexplicably long development cycles lead to nothing but angst and ill will among potential customers. If your going to tease a product be prepared to see people get worked up.

I tried the 1st link and wasn't able to connect. Seems to be a MySQL error that prevents the page from loading.

Could you send me a copy of the file?

I agree. Maybe if the release is imminent and a dead cert to go (few tidy ups etc) then its ok.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Thank you Fabrizio that link worked!

Agreed, it would be nice if they gave some sort of a release eta. I've been checking the Real Air website since Feb of 2012, I check back every month or 2 and it still says "coming soon"...

Bases on their other products, it should be GREAT when it is released. :good:

Thank you Fabrizio that link worked!

Those were the FS9 planes at least on my end.... the FSX link is working

Yes, Ryan thanks for pointing that out, I did see the link to FSX ACFT and found the appropriate zip to download.

This should hold me over until one of the releases materializes...???

Yeah it's what I've been using. It's actually a decent plane because of the ADF... most of my payware planes, while nice, have RMI's (makes NDB approaches far too easy!)
