xx.gifWebsite Maintenance and Downtime

on: December 4, 2012, 12:34

Hey All,

We had some unplanned website maintenance and downtime this week. This wasn't planned, but our website team thinks that everything is good to go. That being said, there are always hiccups, and I can't promise there won't be anymore, but they're committed to keeping it well maintained and up.

Thanks so much again for your patience and your support of Prepar3D.

Back up and running as well as it always has. The same LAME "Mingle" forum software unfortunately. I wish there were a way to mark all messages as "read" though. It's annoying to have to open/close every message just to shorten the list!

I wish there were a way to mark all messages as "read" though.

Down at the bottom of the main forum page is a Mark All Read (or similar) click link. But... it takes TWO clicks on that link to show the forum(s) as having been read.

Just a plain and simple server outage, they are back up and running now.

This is from the Prepar3D site

Technical difficulties happen to the best of us …. And we’re no exception, unfortunately.

The Prepar3D® website experienced a server outage on December 2 during which website registration, the Prepar3D store and the support forums were inaccessible. In restoring the site, any information added from December 2 through December 4 was not able to be retrieved. If you registered at the website for the first time or posted to the forums during this period, please accept our humblest apology. When convenient, please register or post your query to the forums again and a member of our Prepar3D engineering team will respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience as we worked through this outage.

Thanks! I somehow missed that at the very bottom. That makes things much simpler now... B)
