Same as well - was on there yesterday no issues and don't remember seeing a maintenance message.

I can think of only 3 possibilities:

  • Laminar research launching a DoS attack to stop people looking at the other sim still being developed.
  • Microsoft have had realised the errors in the ways and taken their code back
  • EULA enforcement agents have broken their way in and unplugged LM's 486DX2-66 web server

 You forgot "Money in budget previously alloted for P3D web page now desperately needed to fix LM F-35C Tail hook debacle" :Big Grin:

I noticed last week they got hit pretty hard over the Thanksgiving holiday with spam. Maybe it's related?

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

I can't reach it too.

And if I remember correctly, on the Lockheed Martin webpage under the ''What We Do'' section, there was also Prepar3d listed.

But I can't find it anymore.

Can somebody confirm this?

But I really can't imagine that they closed Prepar3d without saying so.

Maybe the site is just undergoing maintenance.

No worries guys. It's the weekend, something tells me their staffing is light on a Sunday. They'll probably have this up by tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Chase

If so Chase, they've not fixed it yet. It's now noon on the west coast, 1pm mountain time.

The website was up for a rather short time this moring (east coast). However, I could not log into my account; it says user name or password error. Using "Lost Password" says my account does not even exist.

Hello,

Same thing here.

I could access the site but not my account.

Looks like they have been hacked and that doesn't look good on a cv of one of the major defense companies...

Lets not jump to conclusions just yet. It could just be a glitch in the web page update, as soon as we get some info we will pass it on.

I had a quick look at the home page while it was up briefly yesterday. It was a brand new site with some new products on it. Importantly, the academic license was still being advertised.

I'd guess that they're about to do a big relaunch. I hope!
