ORBX Suggestion?

KJAC is excellent, but it's the surrounding environs that make it so ;o)

+1, but note that it's not PNW anymore, it's CRM.

I think there is some development extending a ways around the airport itself that is enhanced w/ KJAC, but I think you are correct to remind us it's beyond PNW, in CRM (or is it NRM?)

If you are looking for an "atmospheric" airport, I'd go for Concrete by a long shot, provided you have the CRM package. The smaller airports are beautiful antiques with detailed eye candy, KJAX is modern and therefore rather cold appearing (IMHO)

Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

Uhm, Concrete (3W5) is definitely in the PNW region, not the CRM region.

As a recent convert to ORBX ... here's the path i took ... i downloaded the PNW demo scenery and it comes with a fully functioning KHQM (which had me at "hello"). I then searched the ORBX forums for a good flight plan that would take me around the Olympic peninsula. Found one instantly from Sam2299 - entitled "PNW- Scenic Flight Over Olympic NP" ... that (plus all other recommendations) was enough for me to purchase. If you do ... make sure you run the demo uninstaller before installing the proper files.

There's enough freeware stuff to enhance the region ... and that should keep you occupied for a while. ;-)
