ORBX Suggestion?
As a recent convert to ORBX ... here's the path i took ... i downloaded the PNW demo scenery and it comes with a fully functioning KHQM (which had me at "hello"). I then searched the ORBX forums for a good flight plan that would take me around the Olympic peninsula. Found one instantly from Sam2299 - entitled "PNW- Scenic Flight Over Olympic NP" ... that (plus all other recommendations) was enough for me to purchase. If you do ... make sure you run the demo uninstaller before installing the proper files. There's enough freeware stuff to enhance the region ... and that should keep you occupied for a while. ;-)

Awsome A321 video
VERY nicely done!!! Reminds me very much of a RW video done by Rodrigodavi ... who makes some outstanding videos(if it's designed after that then kudos to you):

Live weather vs Active Sky 2012 vs Opus weather
Is it just coincidence that there's a 10 frame difference between the two?

NGX & VOR Identifiers
Ohhh good one Steve ... forgot about that!! Great info.

NGX & VOR Identifiers
Only way I can think off the top of my head is to check the NAV STATUS page. Closest VOR information would be shown. You can get to the NAV STATUS page from the PROG menu on the FMC.

Destination wx check
I personally use the Aivlasoft EFB and it displays METAR information from NOAA .. so you can validate destination weather without issue. While an inflight lookup would be a nice feature for OPUS i think it would be overkill since there are plenty of software offerings that can do this already. I vote to stick with developing the awesomeness that is the weather engine ;-)

Is there a way to make that configurable so i can set my own time limit perhaps?

Can spy window be opened for longer than 1 minute?
As the topic says ... i have purchased the full version of the product and really like the spy window, but find it a little frustrating that it closes after 1 minute. Couldn't find in the doc if there's the option to have the spy window open longer. Regards,

wilco Airbus Evolution released!
Has anyone managed to actually get the weather radar working? If so ... was it not working and you did something to make it work (i.e. register a specific dll etc)I've seen Youtube videos and other acknowledgements that it must work in certain circumstances ... just not sure what they are. What lacking instructions are bundled with the product I followed - 2D cockpit ... central pedestal ... flip switch to On = zip, zilch, nada. Just wondering if there's a specific way i need to tilt my head to make it work??Regards,Steve

RC Does not "see" that I'm Flying Assigned Heading
I'm with Jim on this one ...this has happened to me a couple of times ... looks like you missed a waypoint ... simple way to fix is to request to fly 'direct' to a waypoint in RC (preferably the next waypoint scheduled in your FMC) ... that'll keep the controller from barking at you :(

Credit card debited four times
Just purchased RC4 about an hour or so ago ... very much looking forward to it.Unfortunately when i went through the purchase process i fat-fingered my billing address (actually on three ... yes count em 3 separate occasions). When i checked my online bank account it appears as though i now have 4 pending transactions for $44 ... only ONE of which is actually valid (others received message indicating the billing address didn't match the one on file for the card). As much as i'm certain i will love this program i'm not prepared to pay $160 for it ;-) ... is there someone who can investigate this on my behalf and validate whether the additional transactions will in fact be cancelled?ThanksStephen BrayfordSoon to be RC4 lover.

Recommended Settings
Do yourself a favor ... add another stick of RAM in your machine - 1GB just isn't enough. FSX is a RAM hog .. 800MB+ . I boosted mine to 3GB ... helped tremendously.Regards,Steve

Anyone find FS-X in Canada ?
Looks like it's pretty widely distributed throughout Canada ... i picked up my deluxe copy last night at Future Shop in Windsor. Note Detroit folks ... come and get em ... there were a bunch of both Standard and Deluxe on the shelf ;)A little choppy on my machine so far ... but i can definitely see the potential. Man i was like a kid in a candy store ... you should have seen my face when i picked it up off the shelf .. :)Steve
