  1. Not sure if support is still being provided for this addon, but i have used and enjoyed this for the past couple of years, but endured/overlooked one big problem - ATIS. When calling for the weather, RC4 in Xplane gives me really abstract values for temps ... such as -25, dewpoint -34 etc. QNH/Altimeter setting seems to be relatively close to expected, but the temps are way off. Where does this plugin get its weather readout from? Ihave used both default xplane weather,as well as Xenviro ... and it seems to be way off on both. Any explanation as to how to fix, or if that's to be expected is greatly appreciated. Regards,
  2. I requested a refund from Paypal after waiting almost a month and sending several emails. Seems like this product is no longer valid/available - i do hope nothing bad has happened to Mr Zimmerman. Developer (or someone who knows the developer) should take down the website to prevent erroneous purchases like ours from occurring. Still looking to enhance the chatter also ... this seemed like it would be a great product for that purpose.
  3. Interested in this product to enhance the chatter of Radar Contact and just wondering if anyone has had any recent contact with the host of this website ... Ralph Zimmerman. I've sent a couple of emails, but they're returned with a mailbox full
  4. Hi Bert, Would you be so kind as to forward this mod to me? My email is la1468@hotmail.com Thank you in advance sir, Steve Brayford
  5. Ryan - I think it might have been you who managed to integrate the GTN somewhat into the PA46 (from the Flight1 forum) ... if so did you manage to turn off the clickspot GNS530? Regards, Steve
  6. As a recent convert to ORBX ... here's the path i took ... i downloaded the PNW demo scenery and it comes with a fully functioning KHQM (which had me at "hello"). I then searched the ORBX forums for a good flight plan that would take me around the Olympic peninsula. Found one instantly from Sam2299 - entitled "PNW- Scenic Flight Over Olympic NP" ... that (plus all other recommendations) was enough for me to purchase. If you do ... make sure you run the demo uninstaller before installing the proper files. There's enough freeware stuff to enhance the region ... and that should keep you occupied for a while. ;-)
  7. VERY nicely done!!! Reminds me very much of a RW video done by Rodrigodavi ... who makes some outstanding videos(if it's designed after that then kudos to you):
  8. Is it just coincidence that there's a 10 frame difference between the two?
  9. Nice site ... thanks for sharing ... can't wait to get home and fly!!
  10. Ohhh good one Steve ... forgot about that!! Great info.
  11. Only way I can think off the top of my head is to check the NAV STATUS page. Closest VOR information would be shown. You can get to the NAV STATUS page from the PROG menu on the FMC.
  12. I personally use the Aivlasoft EFB and it displays METAR information from NOAA .. so you can validate destination weather without issue. While an inflight lookup would be a nice feature for OPUS i think it would be overkill since there are plenty of software offerings that can do this already. I vote to stick with developing the awesomeness that is the weather engine ;-)
  13. Awesome Jeff. Great attention to detail in the narrative and outstanding pics. Loved the read! Thanks for posting.
  14. Is there a way to make that configurable so i can set my own time limit perhaps?
