October 21, 201213 yr Hi captains, I'm wondering if there are a way to know the frequency of a VOR displayed on the ND when you switch on the STA (station) button on the EFIS. In the 747 is possible to get this info by simply ente ring the VOR name in the CDU nav page. But 737... Thanks in advance. Ivan Lewis PMDG B737NGX, B777 and B747v3 QOTS II
October 22, 201213 yr Only way I can think off the top of my head is to check the NAV STATUS page. Closest VOR information would be shown. You can get to the NAV STATUS page from the PROG menu on the FMC. Regards, Steve Brayford Windsor, ON Canada Delta Virtual Airlines - DVA 2299, Captain 767 Program
October 22, 201213 yr You can also go to the REF NAV DATA page by clicking INIT REF, INDEX, NAV DATA. Then enter the VOR ident and up-select to 1R Steve Caffey

October 22, 201213 yr Commercial Member Do it like every other pilot does it...MAPS (or memory)! www.skyvector.com I swear, I'll show a map to someone 5 years from now and they'll look at me like I'm from space. Kyle Rodgers
October 22, 201213 yr I think you can always enter the "name" of the VOR into the CDU and it'll identify and show you the nearest station with that name. But yeah, as Kyle said, maps are (at least for me) the best way to do that. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
