Aerosoft's Detroit-Wow!

Maybe I am biased since I lived here the last 31 years-but they must have almost every building in Detroit rendered (well more than 1,050 major buildings included) -along with area airports. The most amazing scenery I have seen and what a bargain!A good shot of the stadiums and downtown:Going up Woodward Avenue to the New Center area-my place of work of 31 years below (I can see my car in the parking lot), the Detroit Medical Center, Whitney (classy dining in an old mansion):Flying over Windsor, Canada-the best view of downtown Detroit:Jefferson Ave, 1300 Lafayette tower...Wayne State University, Detroit Institute of Arts, Science Center, and African American Museum:Fisher building (home of WWJ-the oldest news radio station-first broadcast 1920, the former GM building which was the largest office building in the world when built:Detroit Metro Airport:Grosse Isle airport (at the mouth of Lake Erie and in the Detroit river:

Appreciate the tour, Geofa. Always good to hear it from an "insider." Thanks.I've got their New Orleans city scenery; this looks even better.John

Wonder if my old HS, just up Woodward from #2, or new HS, at 7 and Ryan are rendered?

Jim-you must have worked two blocks from me! The Detroit school for the fine arts is there-not sure about the others. You better get it and report back!

No, you need to go further north to Holbrook. Northern is still open, but as a K-12 girls only school. And seeing that 7 and Ryan is so close to KDET, I would say that Pershing might be in there too.

Looking good. Does it convert with FS2XP? I have my wallet open if that's the case.

hm, for some reasons I prefer california :(

Man, I wish the whole FSX world looked like that... beautiful shots!

Wow ... outstanding pics ... looks like they have my old stomping grounds (Wayne State Uni) down pat!!! How are frames with this package ... any noticeable difference?
