December 6, 201213 yr Hi guys, After years of looking at airport ground vehicles zooming round the various airports in FSX at life threatening speeds, I decided to try and rectify matters and slow them down. On checking the methods other users have posted on this forum, I went through each of the .cfg files under Sim Objects>Ground Vehicles and adjusted the speeds from the 115 mph (generally) to something more reasonable. The results were disappointing - I could detect no differences at all. As an experiment, I selected all the vehicles connected with baggage handling and set all their speeds to 10 mph. I was stunned to see they still whizzed around with no discernable change of speed. I did the same with all flatbed trucksand got the same results. All relevant cfg files were checked and found to be correct. Other people seem to have success with this method, so can anyone suggest what I can be missing.? Ron Ron McConnell

December 6, 201213 yr Commercial Member I think most people that successfully modify traffic speeds do it my modifying the LWcfg.spb. Here's a tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=149810&Name=&FileName=&Author=&CatID=root Jim

December 7, 201213 yr It largely depends upon who programmed the traffic and how. For example, I remember one scenery where the author stated that the way he programmed it was linked to your framerate. Therefore limiting the framerate stopped his traffic running amok. There is more than one way though.
