December 8, 201213 yr 10.20 Beta 6 is available ... Changes: http://wiki.x-plane.com/Beta#X-Plane_10.20_Beta_6
December 8, 201213 yr Just updated to beta 6, but its crashing when I load up a fight out of KLGA NY. I removed all my addons from this area, but it still happens. Can anyone who is running Beta 6 try to start a flight from KLGA and see if it causes XP to crash? I want to see if its me or just a new bug that popped up. Rob

December 8, 201213 yr I dont think this is a bug for this release, but I often get zero vis when the weather is reporting 12 miles, especially on approach. Anoying
December 9, 201213 yr As often said in the past, it is a beta version. This is no final release. And thanks us all, we are the beta testers to make this software outstanding. But until then it is still a long way to go
December 9, 201213 yr Commercial Member As often said in the past, it is a beta version. This is no final release. And thanks us all, we are the beta testers to make this software outstanding. But until then it is still a long way to go  No one is "forced" to be a beta tester. The option is there to download the beta version, but you are certainly not obliged to do so. So, saying we are ALL beta testers, is incorrect. I'm actually still on 10.11.
December 9, 201213 yr I'm actually still on 10.11. +1, I'm also still using the stable 10.11 for most flights. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/392958-landing-in-pointe-a-pitre-tffr/ But I'm also using a demo for trying the latest betas. I had no problem with 10.20 beta 6. http://www.c74.net/xplane/fx/viewtopic.php?f=30&p=6621#p6621 Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -

December 9, 201213 yr Commercial Member That is true indeed. But those who checked the box for "beta-updates" are beta-testers, aren't they? Not necessarily. Downloading the beta version does not automatically make someone a tester. A beta "tester" by definition is someone who provides feedback on the beta product back to developers. You can choose to download a beta build just to have a look at what has been done without actually being a tester.
December 9, 201213 yr I agree with Goran, you are not all beta testers. Guinea pigs is the term I think Havena was looking for.
