January 4, 201313 yr Hi John Thanks! I followed your instructions and opened up a "gauges night.bmp" then double clicked on a gauge and Paint Net opened up! I believe I can do the same for GIMP as an alternative paint program if need be.. Now I need to make some copies of these gauge bmps to practice on, as I have never done this before. Will search other painter forums for tutorials on this. Again, thanks for your help. It is appreciated. Raymie

January 6, 201313 yr Noticed the oil pressure problem last night and logged in to post a question - only to find that it had already been asked and answered - thanks to all for your help. January 19, 201313 yr Are there any files available to correct the oil pressure green band? I've never painted anything and don't have any of these programs. If nothing is available, I'll reluctantly attempt to correct on my own using the guidance and direction here.
January 22, 201313 yr Just a little feedback on the air file parameter tweaking - have tried quite a few settings and not satisfied with the realism of the results. I think painting is the right answer here so I'm off to give it a go like LDP1949.

I'm self-taught and use freeware tools, so it does not take anything fancy.. ImageTool.exe to un-compress the bitmap and MS Paint to make the changes.. I'm sure that experienced Photoshop users would cringe  Bert
