Skies above

Featured Replies

I love looking at the sky. Here in the Caribbean it is often a deep azure with lots of fleecy cumulus. Or at least when it isn't too hazy, which is most of the time. B)

Flight has lots of pretty atmospheric effects and the sky colors are some of the prettiest and most successful of them.

The artists deserve a lot of credit for their beautiful work. Was that not Adrian Woods who did the environmental art for Flight (and previous versions of FS as well)?

Best regards.

You are so correct Luis...

So many good things about FLIGHT... really kills me they stopped development.

Thanks for posting those pics.

I agree with you on both of your posts, Luis. I've spent a good sum of money trying to get the skies looking the most realistic in my other sim, and they are improved, but not on the par with Flight.

As for the other post, if there is another comment along this line, it will be taken care of. As this wasn't a direct bash to Flight as we've seen in the past, I'll let it slide this time. But, unfortunately, posts such as these tend to attract unsavory comments. If that happens, they will go poof.

Zowen - This is not the place for debating which is better. This forum is specifically for Flight. Trying to pop our balloons is not allowed.

Your posts went "Poof". We're not going to have these arguments again.

Thank you.

I was not trying to start an argument or ruin your enjoyment, which is why I started with a compliment, but I understand your reasoning. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Low and threatening! That theme seems to set the mood for anything.
