Sorry for hijacking this thread, but what aircraft addon is that? And about those landing lights, do those come with the aircraft, modded or something? The strobes look like A2A 3d lghts.

I reformatted my HD and re-installed fsx with the DX10 option and holy cow I get smooth fast fps with no bugs, is this a dream or did Win8 fix dx10 in fsx?

 

So are you getting smooth VC lighting sunlight/shadow edges with Win 8 alone?

Okay! Fixed that, now I have this huge artifact around my sun... Any tips?

Just also realized that the box around the sun has the texture that appears when textures are loading or take long to load.

I'm guessing it is a missing sun texture perhaps?

Fixed! Used some replacement sun textures I obtained from google, thanks for the help.
