December 31, 201213 yr I just downloaded all the four files from the DCS website for the DCS World 1.2.2.7570. I put all the downloaded files into a folder, clicked on the (exe) like it said on the installation page, I get an error saying that (The Source File is corrupted! What has happened here and how do I fix this? Regards, Ciaran.
January 1, 201313 yr If I recall, this happend to me once. I re-downloaded the program again, but this time I picked one of the eurpean servers and it was OK. Rob
January 1, 201313 yr Yes, downloading from a different, preferably HTTP instead of FTP server wlll be a good alternative. Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
January 1, 201313 yr Author I got it working after about 8 hours of re-trying different servers... I was constantly getting corrupt files, which i find typical for downloads over 2 hours long. Installed the DCS A10C Warthog along with it, thoroughly enjoying it... Its complex, but a pleasure to learn. Regards.
January 31, 201313 yr To install modules to DCS world. How is this done? I just downloaded DCS last night and got it going. I havee preciously purchased the A-10 and KA-50. Do I have to reinstall these for DCS to "see" and integrate them. If I were to buy FC3 - first I do the LOMAC install then FC# - will DCS "see " FC# or is someething else need to be done. In all honesty I have not read in detail the 200+ page manual on DCS but I have gone through it quickly and did not see it. Thankss for any asssisstance. Dave
January 31, 201313 yr Just go to their website and download separate modules for products you bought. DO not install modules for product you don't have a serial key or you will be in pain to remove it. For FC3 you just need to install LOMAC first and then FC3 module.
