Just Flight's Duchess over Colorado's San Juan Mountains

Featured Replies

Thought I would enjoy some of what I consider arguably the best mountain scenery in the United States. Just take off out of Durango, CO and head north, and you'll hit the San Juan Mountains which extend for miles and miles in southwest Colorado. Fly among high, fourteen thousand foot peaks separated by deep valleys and canyons. Of course I am using Tileproxy to enhance the experience. Be sure to plan on flying around fifteen thousand feet to clear the high peaks! Hope you enjoy my screenshots.

Good stuff, man!

And you're right about the San Juan Mountains. As a 40+ year resident of the state I can say with some authority (OK, it's my biased personal opinion :) ) that they're the best of the best in Colorado.

Very nice shots! I like the Duchess too.
